Projecta unveils 3D Emotions
Where digital printing for ceramics meets art and redefines industry standards.
In today’s ceramic industry, the distinction between technological innovation and artistic creation is becoming increasingly blurred. Projecta (B&T Group) is playing a key role in this evolution with its “3D Emotions” concept. As a world leader in digital printing for structures and effects, the company is setting new standards by moving beyond simple decoration to offer complex graphics, small-scale customisation and superior production flexibility compared to traditional methods.
MULTIFIX: The new frontier of 3D digital printing
This year’s flagship product, Multifix, is opening up new potential for ceramic materials. This modular technology combines glue and grit application with a system of fixatives that can modify the final aesthetic (matt, glossy or coloured) and add deep tactile effects. The system supports up to eight fixative bars and two glue bars. Its strength lies in its exceptionally flexible layout: a single machine can be installed at either the beginning or the end of the glazing line, ensuring maximum printing precision across all formats (from 70 to 200 cm).
DRYFIX: Performance and sustainability
Dryfix is the most versatile solution for the digital application of glue and grit. Ideal both for decorations and for high-discharge, full-field coverage, it ensures the perfect balance between aesthetic impact and operational savings. With all parameters managed via software, the system guarantees unrivalled definition and uniform application. Cost optimisation is achieved through low glue consumption, an efficient grit recovery system and reduced wear on lapping tools. Furthermore, in line with current sustainability requirements, DRYFIX drastically reduces emissions as it is fully compatible with water-based materials.
EFFECTA: Water-repellent precision
Compact and easy to install within the production line, EFFECTA applies water-repellent effects with maximum precision and high discharge thanks to Seiko printheads. It can be positioned before digital printing to obtain digital 3D textures or after for matt, glossy, and material effects such as sinking or penetrating finishes. Fully synchronisable with other printers and compatible with water-based materials, it offers pinpoint precision within a compact footprint.
