Based on available data from U.S. Dept. of Commerce and Tile Council of North America, U.S. ceramic tile consumption in 2025 was an estimated 240.3 million m2, down 4.2% from the previous year, with an estimated value of $3.8 billion. Through November 2025, U.S. ceramic tile imports were at 159.7 million m2 (-2.4%), with Spain and Italy leading the way.
Mohawk Industries ended the fiscal year 2025 with consolidated net sales of $10.8 billion (-0.5% on 2024). The Global Ceramic Segment reported net sales of $4.3 billion (+1.5% versus 2024), accounting for 39.8% of the Group’s total net sales.
Indian tile exports partially recovering in 2025. Production and consumption are expected to grow by 3.7% and 6.3% per year respectively over the 2025–2029 period.
