Somany Keraben set up in India
Somany Keraben is the name of the new Indian ceramic company formed as a joint partnership between Keraben, a leading Spanish ceramic tile manufacturer, and Somany, an equally well-known Indian producer founded in 1968 with a current output of around 13 million sq.m per year.
The new company, to which each partner has contributed 50 million rupees, began its activities with a share capital of around 2 million euro. Somany Keraben aims to offer high technical and aesthetic quality products to the vast Indian market. The company will invest 3% of annual turnover in R&D, an area where Keraben will make a significant contribution.
