Panariagroup gains EMAS certification
This important recognition, which has so far been achieved by only five other Italian ceramic companies, was received following lengthy and meticulous verifications of the suitability of the factory in terms of workplace safety, environmental performance, and the company’s future objectives and environmental targets.
As a result of EMAS certification, Panariagroup has reorganised its internal environmental management. This in turn has brought numerous advantages in terms of efficiency, control, cost reduction, employee motivation and external relations.
At its last meeting approving the 2004 balance sheet (230.4 million euro, + 11.1%), the company’s shareholders reconfirmed Giuliano Mussini as chairman, Giovanna Mussini as vice chairman and Giuliano Pini as managing director and general manager.
