Ceramic company Porcellan set up in Abu Dhabi

27/07/07 - The industrial holding group Jamal Al Ghurair Est., which operates in numerous production sectors and is headquartered in Dubai, is currently constructing a porcelain tile production plant in Abu Dhabi.
Products will be marketed under the Porcellan trade mark.

The factory is due to start up in January 2008 and will have an output of 50,000 sq.m/day (18 million sq.m/year) of glazed and unglazed porcelain tile in a large size (up to 120 cm).

The plant will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, largely manufactured in Italy.
