Stefano Mele appointed new managing director of the NuovaFima Surface Inspecti

11/05/07 - In January 2007 Stefano Mele was appointed the new CEO of the NuovaFima and Surface Inspection group.

Mele, 42 years old, who has experience of over 15 years in companies such as CPS Color, Alcatel, Basf, where he was in chief of operations in Italy, Germany, Slovacchia and Spain has taken over the helm of the companies at a time of major expansion.

The new year began with a growing orders portfolio.
Both companies reported a positive balance sheet in 2006.
Surface Inspection closed the year with an all-time record of 75 sales of automatic inspection systems, while NuovaFima reported an 11% increase in revenues at the end of 2006.
