Gippsland names new regional manager21/03/2003 - Gippsland Limited, the world's second-largest producer of tantalum and one of the largest suppliers of feldspars, has appointed Mr. Ayman Ayyash regional manager for the Middle East and North Africa.
Mr. Ayyash will initially be based in Amman, Jordan, and will make frequent visits to Egypt to provide support with the development of the Abu Dabbab project for tantalum extraction.
The new manager has a twenty-year-long experience in the sectors of infrastructures, construction and quarrying, and has worked in Kuwait, Australia, United Arab Emirates and Jordan. His long experience in the marketing and management sectors will facilitate the development of the Abu Dabbab project and will give ongoing support to Gippsland's activities in the region.meast.jpgGippsilamdwww.gippslandltd.com.au
