Esmalglass-Itaca unveils its renewed inLAB

Ultra-high-quality surfaces and textures on display in the Vila-real showroom, developed through technological precision and rigour.

Technological precision, rigorous control of materials and the pursuit of the highest surface quality lie at the heart of inLAB, the renewed exhibition space of Esmalglass-Itaca in Vila-real (Castellón). Conceived as a setting for presenting advanced solutions to customers, inLAB reflects the company’s “Innovation that cares” concept.

DIAMOND PRO: high-performance ultra-matt surfaces

Among the most significant innovations, a leading role is played by Diamond Pro, a material developed to achieve ultra-matt surfaces with extremely low gloss levels (GU <6), while at the same time maintaining high transparency, enhanced resistance and a distinctly velvety feel.

In addition to its superior aesthetic quality, the formulation delivers high technical performance by combining anti-slip properties with outstanding resistance, without sacrificing an exceptionally soft and silky finish.
Diamond Pro also ensures high transparency and excellent colour development and can be combined with different effects to add depth to designs. Here, the visual purity of crystal is combined with high technical precision, where light is reflected on the surface with millimetric accuracy, contributing to a stable and long-lasting aesthetic result.

DIAMOND SILK

Diamond Silk is a new finish that makes it possible to obtain surfaces similar to those of a matt lapped finish, but without the need for the polishing and lapping process. Thanks to a carefully balanced combination of materials, it achieves gloss levels lower than those of traditional matt-lapped surfaces, while delivering superior resistance to stains and chemical attack, as well as a uniquely soft tactile sensation.

GLITTER EFFECTS

Glitter Effects technology enables the creation of special crystal effects within a grit, as the crystals are coated with a specific glaze that allows their complete integration into the surface of the product. Among its many advantages, it offers a significant increase in aesthetic value, accompanied by improved functional performance and greater stain resistance.

LUSTRATO

Designed for the brick-format wall tile segment, Lustrato aims to recover the essence of traditional ceramics: classically inspired glazed surfaces that reproduce the shine and “lustre” of historic glazes, reinterpreted through the most advanced digital technologies available today.
The combination of a glossy surface with a crackle effect gives the material a distinctive vintage character, particularly suited to enhancing elongated rectangular wall tile formats.

INFINITY GRITS

Infinity Grits is based on the combination of different digital effects and digital glues with a single grit, developed to integrate perfectly with them and generate multiple finishes. By varying the digital application of glues or effects, surfaces can be created ranging from glossy to matt, with different textures and effects, all characterised by maximum three-dimensional depth.
This technology is compatible with all digital printing machines currently available on the market, making it easy to integrate into existing production processes.
