Dal Prete at Marmomac 2025

Dal Prete is exhibiting cutting-edge automated water treatment solutions for the natural stone and ceramic tile worshops at Marmomac.

For over 60 years, efficiency, automation and sustainability have been the guiding principles behind the operations of Dal Prete, an Italian company with a strong international focus that specialises in smart solutions for treating and recycling process water in natural stone workshops and ceramic tile factories or in other processes that require the use and recovery of wastewater.

This year, the company will once again exhibit at Marmomac in Verona (Hall 5 – Booth E5), where its team of consultants will present the latest technologies designed to boost productivity and streamline operations in specialised workshops. The aim of these technologies is to fully automate the water and sludge management cycle, freeing workers from repetitive, low-value tasks so that resources can be optimised and competitiveness increased.

At the heart of Dal Prete’s solutions are ultra-compact modular systems based on a single 6 m² unit and capable of automatically managing water clarification and sludge dewatering. Unlike traditional systems, these plants are designed to integrate seamlessly into modern production environments, where every square metre and every working hour count.

The process is controlled by the proprietary DPURE software, which allows the plant to be programmed according to the company’s production schedule while optimising consumption, cycle times and performance. The system automatically adjusts chemical dosages, washes components in contact with sludge and drastically reduces the need for specialised technical personnel. This results in fewer manual operations, higher efficiency and greater production continuity.

But automation is not the only benefit. Dal Prete also guarantees:

  • High-quality clarified water thanks to the use of pure, 100% biodegradable flocculants dosed according to free tests carried out by technicians on samples of the customer’s dirty water.
  • 60% reduction in sludge volume for disposal thanks to a high-efficiency filter press.
  • Significant reduction in operating costs thanks to complete water recycling and reduced sludge disposal frequency.
  • Up to 20% longer tool life due to cleaner process water.

Dal Prete’s systems are particularly effective in the ceramic sector, where slab machining requires strict control of water quality. During cutting and finishing, abrasive residues can compromise the final result and damage tools and machinery. Automated water treatment and recycling systems ensure a constant supply of clarified water, improving work quality, reducing plant wear and lowering operating costs.

In a production environment where efficiency and precision are both essential, Dal Prete technologies are a strategic asset for professional, competitive ceramic processing.

Another key strength of Dal Prete’s offering is the comprehensive technical consultancy provided. The company’s team designs systems tailored to the workshop’s actual needs, ensuring optimal flow rate, pressure and water quality at every stage of the production process.

With over 80% of its output exported, Dal Prete is now an internationally recognised leader in water treatment for the stone and ceramic industries. Its experience in diverse markets has resulted in the development of modular, adaptable solutions, ready to meet the challenges of an industry increasingly focused on sustainability, automation and competitiveness.
