Vortex Anti-Tornado Washing System

Innovation in toilet flushing technology.

Although ceramic sanitaryware flushing systems have evolved continuously in response to growing expectations in terms of hygiene, water efficiency, noise reduction and user comfort, toilet bowl washing performance remains a key area for further innovation. In this context, Genitec has developed the Vortex Anti-Tornado Washing System, a flushing technology designed to improve cleaning efficiency and comfort.

The system operates by generating a controlled swirling action inside the bowl when the flush is activated. The water path is optimised by means of precisely positioned jets and a carefully designed internal geometry. The water swirls around the inner surface of the bowl, providing complete 360-degree coverage while minimising splashing and noise.

The term “Anti-Tornado” refers to the system’s ability to maintain a controlled vortical motion without chaotic turbulence. This design approach can be adapted to various toilet bowl models developed at Genitec’s design centres, ensuring consistent flushing performance even in rimless toilets.

As bowl geometry is critical to the effectiveness of the Vortex Anti-Tornado system, each design is developed with predefined water flow parameters. This ensures that the vortical flow maintains its momentum until the surface is completely rinsed, preventing bacterial build-up and making subsequent cleaning easier.

The system also helps to save water and ensures a quieter flush, a major benefit in both residential and hospitality applications.

The Vortex Anti-Tornado Washing System has been validated in Genitec’s laboratories through rigorous functional testing using specialised measuring instruments and equipment.
