Surfaces 2005, growth figures
The American show held in Las Vegas from 26 to 28 January was attended by over 38,200 visitors (a 5.7% increase compared to 2004), who packed the more than 46,400 net square metres exhibit space in the Sands Expo & Convention Center.
A record-breaking 1,054 exhibitors took part in the show, 14% more than last year’s 925.
In particular the show attracted a lot of new manufacturers, with 333 new companies exhibiting this year (7% more than in 2004).
The organisers have already set the dates for next year’s show: Surfaces 2006 will be held in Las Vegas from 1 to 3 February.
The first bookings have been received from a number of companies, including Mannington Mills, Beaulieu, Abbey Carpet, Laticrete and Crossville.
