Rondine Group reports increase in turnover

09/07/04 - The Rondine Group of Rubiera (province of Reggio Emilia, Italy) is continuing to expand. In 2003 the company reported an increase in both turnover (up 6.15% to 50.1 million euro) and production (up 9% to 5.55 million square metres).

The pre-tax operating result was 2.1 million euro (4.20% of turnover) and net profits 150,226 euro. EBIT reached 7.9 million euro (15.87% of turnover) and EBITDA 2.1 million euro (4.20% of turnover). Another positive figure is the reduction in warehouse stock in 2003 in spite of the increase in production.

These figures go against the general trend for the sector, characterised by an unfavourable economic situation in 2003 and no sign of improvement this year, at least according to the figures for the first few months of 2004.
