Glen-Gery announces 2026 Brick Color of the Year
Casablanca is a facing brick in light tones that blends natural texture with enduring design potential across residential and commercial projects.
Glen-Gery Corporation, a leading U.S. brick manufacturer and part of Brickworks North America, has unveiled the 2026 Brick Color of the Year with Casablanca, an extruded facing brick in light tones that naturally enhances design potential in both residential and commercial projects.
Casablanca tells a story of resilience and refinement. Its sun-bleached aesthetic evokes warmth and durability, giving buildings a timeless elegance that fits harmoniously in both modern architectures and more traditional settings.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Casablanca stands out as a truly narrative material: it draws inspiration from the rocky landscapes and flowing waterways of the Midwest, which also inspired the entire Sioux River Series. This collection emphasizes deep textures and color variations that easily complement a range of finishes, offering architects and designers wide flexibility. Available in modular and builder’s special sizes, Casablanca is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, confirming the versatility that has long made brick a preferred architectural material.
Since 2023, Glen-Gery’s annual Brick Color of the Year selection has aimed to guide designers and architects toward contemporary solutions by incorporating emerging color trends into their projects.
