Coverings unveils 10 Tile Trends for 2026
The trends offer an early preview of what exhibitors will spotlight at Coverings 2026.
Coverings, the largest ceramic tile and natural stone trade show in North America, has announced its top 10 tile trends for 2026 to mark National Tile Day (Feb. 23). The trends offer an early preview of what exhibitors will spotlight at Coverings 2026, set for March 30–April 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The annual trend forecast is curated by the show’s three main sponsors and international trade bodies—Ceramics of Italy/Confindustria Ceramica, the Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Association of Spain (ASCER)/Tile of Spain, and the Tile Council of North America (TCNA). Working with them this year was designer Alena Capra, owner of Alena Capra Designs and a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer.
According to organizers, the 2026 trends reflect a balance between visual experimentation and performance-driven design. Bold aesthetics are paired with practical considerations such as durability, hygiene and sustainability—attributes increasingly central to residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
The trends will be examined in depth during the “Global Tile Trends” session on March 30 at the show, where Capra and a panel of industry experts will analyze the key stylistic, technological and environmental directions emerging from major tile-producing countries. The session promises a closer look at the materials, techniques and design languages shaping the market in the year ahead.
